Need two 2nd shift and one 1st shift

List of Key Responsibilities:

LOAD

 

  • Reads, understands, and follows procedures related to position.
  • The ability to load part with limited over laps.
  • The ability to load glass so it is not over the dynamic seal or in the resin run area.
  • The ability to roll and press mat into the corners and around radii to insure a quality part.
  • The ability to install back shell without the glass falling.
  • The ability to properly use hoist.
  • Maintain forklift license to install back shell on RTM molds as needed.
  • Meet with and train on products as new ones come in.
  • Reads route card to identify correct materials required.
  • Identify defects & follow proper procedure for non-conformance.
  • Inspect parts at every stage of process to identify defects and correct immediately.
  • Produces quality parts at or above expected rate.
  • Utilizes time and skills effectively.
  • Uses safety guidelines & proper PPE to protect self and reminds others of importance.
  • Maintain all necessary documentation related to position.

INJECT

  • Knowledge of what tags to use/match words on RFID tag to program running on machines.
  • Knowledge of how to use Injection machines, automatic or manual systems.
  • Ability to do proper wax detection and care of molds/back shell (tape test every time).
  • Ability to use proper loading techniques… what material to put a tight radii, under a seam.
  • Maintain a forklift license.
  • Utilizes time and skills effectively.
  • Understand how and why vacuum work and how to check/ detect/correct leaks.
  • Understand proper loading…overlaps, resin runs, seal.
  • Ability to know how to mix resin/fillers safely and properly.
  • Ability to use proper back shell to mold setting/ handling/ closing.
  • Ability to use proper pull techniques, detection of flaws in part before and after pull.
  • Communication / review with area that caused a defect.
  • Identify defects and follow proper procedure for non-conformance.
  • Produces quality parts at or above expected rate.
  • Uses safety guidelines and proper PPE to protect self and reminds others of importance.
  • Maintain all necessary documentation related to position.

List of General Responsibilities:

LOAD

  • Ability to clean excess glass fibers off the flange.
  • Put the glass WEI sets away in properly labelled area.
  • Maintain a clean and safe work environment.
  • Verifies material is on hand and correctly labeled.
  • Works independently.
  • Interface well with others.
  • Housekeeping.
  • Put tools away at the end of shift.

INJECT

  • Proper tool use and care.
  • Maintain a clean and safe work environment.
  • Ability to fill acetone/ Catalyst pots as needed at start of shift.
  • Ability to check resin tank.
  • Ability to clean ports and pots.
  • Verifies material is on hand and correctly labeled.
  • Works independently.
  • Interface well with others.
  • Put tools away at the end of shift.

  • Ability to lift mat sets.
  • Knows all tools and equipment related to position and what to use to replicate customer specifications.

  • Uses knowledge of all tools and equipment related to position to replicate customer specifications.
  • Uses knowledge of root cause of quality issues that arise to help eliminate defect & uses proper procedure to fix defect.
  • Uses safety guidelines & proper PPE to protect self and reminds others of importance.

INJECT

  • Knows all tools and equipment related to position and what to use to replicate customer specifications.

  • Appropriate procedure to use and where to find.
  • Efficiency expectation.
  • Product knowledge: what to use, why it is used & how to use it. How to read and apply vendor information if necessary.
  • How to use page system/radio for assistance.
  • Quality Policy.
  • Quality standard per customer specifications & how to identify defects.
  • Root cause of quality issues that arise & proper procedure to correct problem.

Must Be Aware of Attributes/Attitudes/Aptitudes:

LOAD & INJECT

  • Occasional 50# lifting.
  • Attentive to work environment to insure it is safe.
  • Safety guidelines & proper PPE for position.
  • What application of support to use to lift heavy or awkward parts.
  • Where to find & how to use MSDS information.
